About Bahrain Superbike Championship
Bahrain Superbike Championship (BSBK), is a racing event being supported by the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) and the Bahrain Motor Federation (BMF) and is unique motorcycle championship in the Kingdom of Bahrain and a first for the region.
This unique race involves 15 racers who will have the ability to battle in a season long race format that includes 12 races over the period of 6 months. The championship takes the shape of an “arrive and race” where the contestants lease the bike for the season using identical bikes 899 Ducati Panigale.
“The BSBK Championship has created a unique template for the motorsport world to view and enjoy motorcycle racing and create an opportunity for branding in motorsport, which is difficult to come by.”
The BSBK is being held at the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) and has received support from the track to launch the first series of it’s kind in the gulf. As a result, all races will be held on the inner circuit which provides a fantastic vantage point for the audience. This also gives the crowd unprecedented access to the pit garages and the contestants, providing a family oriented for the supporters.
